Shipping FAQs
I love getting my purchases as soon as possible, so I work quickly to do the same for my customers. I make it my goal to ship within one to two business days, although during new release times that may not be possible. I ship all my orders with USPS. 90% of orders are shipped with a tracking number which is automatically emailed to you when your package goes out. The very few packages that are mailed without tracking are orders with one or two extremely lightweight things, like a postcard or thin pattern.

SHIPPING UPGRADE:
I do offer rush processing with Priority mail.
INSURANCE:
My packages are not shipped with insurance, but it can be provided for an additional fee. Please email me before placing your order if you'd like insurance added.
ADDRESS CHANGE:
If you accidentally entered the wrong address when filling out your transaction don’t panic, it happens to the best of us. Please contact me ASAP to correct the address.
If for some reason I have already shipped your package, you will be responsible for contacting USPS and if the package gets sent back to me you will need to pay for return shipping.
OTHER NOTES ABOUT SHIPPING:
Once I drop your package off at the Post Office its delivery speed is out of Lindy Stitches' control.
I'm happy to help you locate your tracking information and assist you with the shipping process, but please keep in mind that USPS is a separate entity from Lindy Stitches. Unfortunately I do not have a secret portal for shipping information; I only have what you can see with your tracking number.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & VAT:
I do provide international shipping services.
Regarding USPS custom numbers: It is normal for international packages to appear to have stopped being updated on the customs number when they leave the USA. This is due to the fact that once the package leaves the USA it gets transferred to your local postal service and is no longer scanned using USPS's technology. Do not worry if this happens to your customs number. If you are concerned about the time it is taking please contact your country's postal service for more information. Lindy Stitches cannot do this for you.
AS OF JULY 1ST, 2021, EU AND UK CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL VAT TAXES AND SERVICE FEES INCURRED AT YOUR COUNTRY'S CUSTOM OFFICES. THIS APPLIES TO ALL PACKAGES NO MATTER THE PACKAGE VALUE.
I, LINDY STITCHES, WILL NOT BE COLLECTING OR REMITTING VAT. THIS MEANS IT WILL BE COLLECTED BY YOUR COUNTRY WHEN THE PACKAGE REACHES CUSTOMS. YOU MAY EXPERIENCE PACKAGE DELAYS (ADDITIONAL 2 WEEKS OR MORE) AND ADDITIONAL PROCESSING FEES. YOU CAN ALSO CHECK WITH YOUR COUNTRY'S CUSTOMS OFFICE TO DETERMINE WHAT YOUR ADDITIONAL COSTS WILL BE BEFORE BUYING.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT LINDY STITCHES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY IMPORT TAXES AND THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ITEM PRICE OR SHIPPING COST.
ADDITIONAL TAXES/CHARGES/FEES ARE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY AND MUST BE PAID TO YOUR COUNTRY TO CLAIM YOUR PACKAGE.
SHOULD I RECEIVE A RETURNED PACKAGE FROM CUSTOMS:
A) YOU CAN PAY SHIPPING AGAIN TO HAVE THE PACKAGE RE-SENT OR,
B) I CAN REFUND YOUR ORDER, MINUS A 10% RESTOCKING FEE & THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING COSTS
