Take a glorious journey with the Queen of Specialty stitches with this detailed project. Jeannette holds your hand through each page of this gorgeous project. It's practically a class!
Jeannette says, "In 2008 I began the journey of the "My Stitching Album" Series. A specialty stitch series that was well loved. I have now taken the time to turn it into a book for release in Nashville.
There will be no thread packs this time around because we have converted all but the heavily hand dyed per page to DMC floss. Therefore, in essence all you would need are the 10 heavily hand dyed silk threads used in the book.
The 6 that I used from Gloriana Threads are:
- Autumn Arbour Silk or Luminescence
- Bellagio
- Blue Grass
- Fallen Leaves
- Red Clay Silk or Luminescence
- Winter Woods
The 4 I used from Caron Collection are:
- Waterlilies - Burnt Toast
- Waterlilies - Royal Jewels
- Waterlilies - Umbria
- Waterlilies - Kelp
Beautiful model done by Diana Sheppard.
Fabric: This was stitched on 32 ct. Crème Brule by R & R Reproductions but some options could be: Lt. Examplar by Lakeside Linens, ,Dirty Teacup by Needle & Flax, Crepe by Seraphim Fabrics by Laurie, Vellum by Picture This Plus, Brown Paper or Little Bunny by XJuDesigns, Shrekie’s Tan (darker option) or Heirloom (lighter option) by Needle Bling Designs - I think you can choose your favourite fairly neutral coffee type dyed fabric and you will be fine. It can be done on any favourite linen count you like.
Threads: Hand Dyed Silk Floss with DMC conversion
